Weekly roundup

I started creating an outline.

I didn’t like the way it was going, so I searched for ideas. I found Jed Herne, a fantasy author and YouTube personality. I found his free writers’ workshop that included an outline template. I formed my own outline based on his, but that was a game-changer. Maybe I’ll share that template if anyone is interested. Anyway, I highly recommend listening to Jed and checking out what he's up to. https://jedherne.com/

Social Media Launch

I’m going to be more present on social media to try to get more help with my book. Keeping everything as close to historically accurate as possible is my goal. So, I figure that I’ll reach out to the experts out there.

Find Your Creative Spot

I have a nearby spot with proper lighting, audio levels, temperature, and unlimited iced tea refills. When I am at my spot, the creative flow is limitless, and I will spend hours there, sometimes four or five times a week. I mostly write in my journals, proofread, and take notes, but I will also bring my laptop. I’ve tried several other spots, but nothing comes close to my one creative spot. Now, I have to put it all together.

Your spot can be anywhere—in your house, your backyard, or at a park. It could be at a restaurant, a coffee shop, or a library. Wherever your creative spot is, don’t be afraid to use it.
